Images from my recent photo shoot with two gorgeous twin girls. They were absolutely lovely to photograph — both individually and together. It was fun watching their dynamic as they snuggled together while we posed them. And I absolutely LOVE that in the shot of them in the wooden bowl, the shape forms a heart. Sigh.

Absolutely love this image from a newborn shoot a few weeks ago. Such a gorgeous little girl, who just curled up serenely in this fur-lined bowl. Really love the natural symmetry and balance.

It’s a new year, so time for a new website …. or an updated one at least.
We’re back in the full swing of things here at Studio Deidre, and we’ve got a great new portfolio online, including many of the images taken during our crazy busy autumn.

I am loving some of these images. I just had a few made into huge wall prints for a client, and they looked amazing! I can’t wait to see some snapshots of these hung on their wall. I absolutely love hearing from clients when they have received their prints and have shared them with friends or family or hung them on the wall. It always makes me smile, seeing the images displayed with pride and joy of the parents!
Lots of new stuff happening at Studio Deidre, including new product offerings. And I’ve had a few baby photography questions come in from clients / readers in the last few weeks, so I’ll be back to answer some of those in the coming days. More soon.

I always love taking the “baby in dad’s hands” shots … there’s just something about a black and white photograph of a tiny newborn in dad’s strong hands.
